A family of four, in Menlo Park, CA, needs to hire Chef Family Assistant to join their experienced household staff. This role combines culinary support with household management, including maintaining the kitchen and pantry, cleaning, organizing, stocking, shopping, and collaborating with the Mrs. on meal planning—sometimes exploring new recipes based on the family’s preferences. Responsibilities include: preparing simple lunches as well as meals for the children and household staff, with dinners typically served early and featuring Asian and Indian cuisines. In addition, the Family Assistant oversees vendors and service providers, manages vehicle maintenance and cleaning, handles trash and recycling, organizes mail, packages and returns and supports other household needs as they arise. A busy professional, with homes in Cleveland and Connecticut, needs to hire a top-tier Executive/Personal Assistant (EPA) to manage and coordinate both their personal life and professional obligations. This individual will act as a key liaison between the principal and their extended team, which includes a business manager, private chef and other staff ensuring seamless communication and organization across all areas. Key responsibilities include: heavy calendar management, coordinating meetings, booking and managing travel for the principal and their family, tracking contracts and overseeing professional projects, some budgeting and managing household finances, event planning, vendor management, and running personal and household errands. The EPA will also ensure the home is fully stocked with preferred products and necessities, oversee the family’s main residence, manage special projects, assist with packing and travel preparation, and drive the principal when needed. A core aspect of this role is keeping the principal on track and serving as a reliable gatekeeper. The principal splits their time approximately 50/50 between Ohio and Connecticut, and the EPA must be willing and able to travel extensively between both locations. While frequent travel is required, Cleveland is the preferred home base, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8–10 years of experience supporting busy HNW professionals or working in similarly demanding environments. A valid driver’s license is required, and all candidates must be tech-savvy, highly organized, an excellent communicator. This role requires flexibility, particularly from late fall through early spring, when a 24/7 mindset is essential, with long workdays spanning five or six days per week and some downtime in the middle of the day. During the summer and early fall, the schedule becomes more traditional, typically Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Some days will involve more family time, while on others the nanny may plan and lead independent outings with the children. The children are also enrolled in various sports and activities, which the nanny will attend with them.

Additional responsibilities include: children’s laundry, light housekeeping related to the children, and preparing their meals and snacks. The family frequently spends time at a second residence in the country, so the nanny must be comfortable traveling and staying overnight (private bedroom and bathroom provided). The family is flexible with the schedule and open to the following weekday combinations, all from 7 AM to 7 PM: Saturday & Sunday, Friday–Sunday, Saturday–Monday, Sunday–Tuesday, and Sunday–Wednesday. For a weekday schedule, school drop off and pick up will be included. They currently have another nanny covering the opposite schedule. A valid driver’s license and swimming ability are required. Position: Facilities Manager, Full Time, Property Manager

This role, which will work directly to the Estate Manager, involves overseeing and maintaining household systems, including water, gas, electrical, HVAC, and AV, as well as coordinating with external vendors and specialists when necessary. Responsibilities also include:  maintaining vehicles and equipment, handling handyman tasks (decoration, repair, minor project works), managing vendors and contractors and working closely with the Estate Management team. The Property Manager will also be responsible for responding to and assisting property emergencies, including those outside of standard working hours, whilst maintaining clear, professional communication with the Estate Manager and Property Owner. While the role is primarily based at the Long Island residence, occasional travel to the family’s home in Manhattan will be required to provide similar services on a periodic basis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a household with school-age children and pets, and must have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in luxury residential or commercial property management, or have a strong background in an MEP trade or general construction. Candidates should be technologically proficient, organized and utterly dependable as well as possessing strong communication skills.  They must be a self-motivated, team player with excellent problem-solving skills. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, though the candidate must be available for communication and emergency call-outs during evenings and weekends as needed. Salary range subject to experience and qualification is $135-155K along with a competitive benefits package. This is an immediate start although a later start by no later than November can be negotiated for the right candidate.
