A prominent family with east coast and west coast properties is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their small staff. The Chef is responsible for preparing lunch and dinner for the family and invited guests. The cuisine should be clean, healthy and elegant whether farm-to-table, Classic French , Thai, etc. The Chef will have extensive experience accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies such as gluten-free. The ability to execute dinner parties and other entertaining needs at a fine-dining level is a must. This role involves heavy entertaining. The role is based in the Hamptons during summer months and California during winter months with occasional needs in NYC. Shared accommodations are provided in everywhere except NYC. The schedule is 5 days per week; weekend coverage is a must. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5-7 years of Private Chef experience in addition to restaurant experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the US, must drive, must be vaccinated for COVID-19, must have excellent references and must be a positive professional who works and gets along well with others.
A family, in Delray Beach, FL, needs to hire an experienced part-time House Manager to join their team. Responsibilities include: assistance in the scheduling of household vendors and service providers for the interior, exterior and grounds of 7 residential and rental properties, reviewing invoices and paying bills, calendar management in tandem with the family’s full-time Executive Assistant, coordinating occasional social events, organizing meal plans and grocery delivery, making travel arrangements (domestic and international), updating gift lists, holiday cards, birthdays, etc. and scheduling monthly dog grooming.

Good communication and technology skills needed with required knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. A family of three, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a Full-Time, Live-in Nanny to help care for their toddler. Responsibilities include: preparing healthy meals and snacks for child, bathing, naptime, assistance with meeting developmental milestones, light housekeeping and planning creative and enriching activities. Experience with Kosher cooking is a plus. Someone who can occasionally travel (domestically) with them is a must. Candidates who enjoy cooking occasionally for the family highly preferred. A family in Nantucket, MA, is seeking an experienced summer Housekeeper/Cook. Responsibilities will be detailed housekeeping duties, preparing rooms for guests, prepare gluten free meals for four to seven people as needed, grocery shop, laundry for family, household organization and hosting duties. The schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm with some flexibility. Candidates must drive and have their own car. The role will last through Labor Day weekend, helping to close the home for the off-season. Candidates able to begin mid-May to help prepare the home preferred. Private cottage provided. A New York family, with a second home in Vermont, needs to hire an experienced Nanny/ Governess to handle full charge care of their oldest child (a teenager) while they attend school. This person will be an extension of the parents and will work closely with and coordinate with them regularly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: seeing the child off in the morning, handling household shopping, transporting the child, keeping track of their busy sports/ activity schedule, helping the child pack for events & travel, keeping the home tidy (the family has a housekeeper for major cleaning), preparing simple meals, ensuring the child does homework, and enforcing/ instilling the family’s expectations for the child’s growth (i.e. ensuring they do their chores). While the child is a teenager and therefore, mostly self-sufficient, the family needs a mature presence in the home to be responsible for the child’s overall well-being and safety.
All applicants must have solid childcare experience, be safe & experienced drivers (especially in winter weather), be vaccinated, and be able to provide a flexible schedule. The family spends at least one week per month at the secondary home and whenever they are present, or the child is back home in NYC or traveling for school, the Governess will have plenty of time off, as well as downtime during the day (during school) to have time to themselves. While the family cannot provide a firm daily/ weekly schedule, they want to be as flexible as possible about making sure the Governess is well taken care of and has time off and they are happy to coordinate an amenable work schedule with the new hire. A part-time housekeeper will be maintaining the home and there is also an option for a chef to drop off some weekly meals to shift some of the responsibilities. One example of a possible schedule would be working 3 weeks and taking one week off with almost 2 months off around the holidays, as well as weeks off here and there. Salary range: 120-160K.
