Typical responsibilities include: menu planning, grocery shopping, preparing dinner and prep for healthy light lunch and breakfast items, kitchen clean up, maintaining & organizing the kitchen/ pantry/ fridge, and ensuring necessary items stay well stocked. There is a tree nut allergy in the home; however, these items are consumed in moderation, as prescribed by a doctor as a treatment.

Ideal candidates will have a proven career in private homes with a strong background in healthy, tasteful. ingredient-driven, cooking. Must be family and dog friendly! The family entertains very occasionally, usually hosting other couples.

Schedule is Monday to Friday and relaxed family-style dinner is served around 6:30. For the most part, dinner will be prepared fresh and displayed family style, at which point Chef is free to depart. Family serves, eats and cleans independently. Family is flexible if chef would like to do shopping and light prep offsite and arrive in the afternoon to finalize any food, prepare dinner and clean-up. Easy availability of lunch for two other household staff members  to be considered. 40 hours guaranteed. PTO for all major holidays and 2 weeks of vacation. Responsibilities include: managing the children’s wardrobes and seasonal rotations, organizing bedrooms and play areas, maintaining inventories of clothing, toys, school and sports supplies, coordinating upcoming activities and appointments, packing and unpacking for travel, organizing sports equipment, creating keepsakes from school projects and artwork, researching and purchasing supplies, and handling other child-related household projects. While the children are in school, the role is focused on project management, organization, inventory, and planning ahead. Once the children return home, the Nanny’s focus shifts fully to hands-on childcare, including homework support, transportation to activities, engaging play and conversation, and overseeing afternoon and evening routines. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, flexible, and comfortable working as part of a collaborative childcare team and additional household staff. Previous experience in a high-functioning private household is strongly preferred, as is a Bachelor’s degree. Flexibility is required during school holidays, extended breaks, travel, sports tournaments, and other periods when the children are not following their regular school schedule. The family aims to keep the rotation as consistent as possible, though occasional schedule adjustments or additional coverage may be needed. During the school year, the two Nannies alternate schedules so that one week consists of working Monday–Tuesday and Friday–Sunday, followed by a lighter week of working Wednesday–Thursday. The rotation then repeats, providing each Nanny with alternating weekends off. Weekday hours are generally 6am through bedtime (around 9:30pm), while Saturday and Sunday generally begin around 7am, depending on the day and continue through bedtime. During the summer, the family relocates to the Hamptons and the position transitions to a live-in 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, generally from approximately 7am through bedtime, typically around 9:30pm. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and passport and be willing to travel domestically and internationally with the family. This is a live out role, though the family is open to those who may need to relocate to South Florida. Responsibilities include: assisting with daily routines, coordinating schedules, driving to activities and games, organizing and managing sports equipment, encouraging outdoor and physical activity, and providing light homework and academic support. The children have busy schedules filled with school, sports, training, practices, and competitions. The family also employs a tutor. Candidates should be  proactive, flexible, athletic, engaging, and highly team-oriented, with strong communication skills and experience working with children in a busy household. Former high school or college athletes are strongly encouraged to apply, though candidates with strong coaching, mentorship, or youth-development backgrounds will also be considered. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. During the school year, the Mannies follow a repeating three-week rotation: one Manny works Monday–Thursday afternoons while the other two cover the full Friday–Sunday weekend block together. Over each three-week cycle, each Manny works one weekday block and two weekend blocks, with one full weekend off. School-year hours are generally Monday–Thursday from 2pm through bedtime (around 9:30pm), Friday from 2pm through approximately 9:30pm, and Saturday–Sunday from approximately 7am through 10pm. Flexibility is required during school holidays, travel, sports tournaments, and other periods when the children are not following their regular schedule. During the summer, the family relocates to the Hamptons and the position transitions to a live-in 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, generally working from approximately 7am through bedtime.
