Working alongside a Second Property Engineer, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards across all building systems and infrastructure, including water, gas, electrical, HVAC, and AV, as well as coordinating with external vendors and specialists when necessary. Much of this role will be handling the more administrative side of the necessary tasks. While the role is primarily based at the Long Island residence, occasional travel to the family’s home in Manhattan will be required to provide similar services on a periodic basis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a household with school-age children and pets, and must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in luxury residential or commercial property management, or have a strong background in an MEP trade or general construction. Candidates should be technologically proficient and have strong communication skills. The typical schedule is five days a week, including one weekend day, approximately 40 hours per week, though the candidate must be available for communication and emergency call-outs during evenings and weekends as needed.
