A family of five, in Summit, NJ., needs to hire an afternoon Nanny/Parent’s Helper to assist a stay-at-home parent with the afternoon care of their three elementary age children. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: school pick up, shuttling the children to afterschool activities & social events, assisting children with homework, helping with some simple dinner preparation, handling some child-related household chores while involving the children & helping to instill a sense of responsibility in them, creating and maintaining a nurturing environment for the children and tag-teaming with parents on evening bed/bath routines. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and have experience caring for children of similar ages. Schedule is: Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 7:30pm, with occasional late-night help needed. Family has a secondary home on the shore and would love nanny to assist them on a more full-time basis when they are there for the months of July and August. Salary range: $30-40/hr. Immediate start
