A busy family of five, in Woodbury, NY, needs to hire a part time Housekeeper/House Manager to keep their home well organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include: keeping the house tidy & organized, coordinating with vendors (as needed), family laundry, running errands, household purchasing & maintaining inventory, grocery shopping, light meal prep for children’s lunches, distributing payment to other staff, and handling deep cleaning or special projects, as needed (i.e. party planning). Care for a secondary property (about one hour east) will be required on an as-needed basis- family spends their summers there. The Family has a childcare team, as well as a part time housekeeper who handles the deep cleaning but this person must be able to roll their sleeves up when needed. Principals both work hybrid schedules and spend about ½ the month working from home, with the other half in office and/or traveling so it is paramount that the housekeeper/ house manager be able to operate independently and ensure the household is running like a well-oiled machine. Typical schedule is Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday from 11am/12pm – 6/7pm. Salary range: $25-40/hr. Immediate start.
