A busy individual, in Carmel, CA, needs to hire an experienced House Manager. Responsibilities include: Running day-to-day household operations and overseeing all elements of maintenance, ensuring the residence is always in pristine guest-readiness condition, hiring, training, and managing household staff, overseeing all inventory, deliveries, renovation projects, and general maintenance of the residence, alerting the client of any necessary repairs or purchases that are beyond the scope of the household staff, managing and maintaining relationships with multiple vendors and contractors, managing the household staff schedule, assisting with formal service of meals / drinks as requested, keeping the home stocked with essential items, running errands, maintaining a detailed household calendar. Minimum 5 – 7+ years related experience in a similar position(s) with a private family. Flexibility with scheduling; ability to work both long hours and weekends as needed. All candidates must be adept in operating home security and electronics systems. General Schedule: Monday-Friday 9-5PM with flexibility to work weekends as needed.
