A family, in Westchester County, NY, needs to hire a live-in Housekeeper/ Cook to assist in the organization and upkeep of their residences and to provide simple and delicious family meals. Responsibilities include: daily upkeep and maintenance of the main home with some upkeep required of additional nearby (unoccupied) properties, laundry & ironing, care for fine household items, light cooking (often just cooking assistance) for two people, tidying up after meals, caring for household plants, some light pet care for a friendly dog, running errands, and handling any special tasks, as needed. There is another housekeeper who lives out and works part time to support with deep cleaning. The current person in this role has been there for 10 years and will assist in training. Typical schedule is 5 days a week (with possible weekend coverage needed) from 9am to 8pm. Salary range: $35-40/hr. plus benefits. Open to relocating the appropriate candidate.
