A professional corporate office in Manhattan needs to hire an Executive Server Manager to lead its hospitality and service operations with precision, discretion, and excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading formal dining service and preparation for executives, overseeing and training the executive server team, plating and serving catered & overseeing buffet-style meals, maintaining the building’s numerous food and beverage pantries and handling inventory ordering and tracking, overseeing budgets and forecasting for every day service and special events, coordinating service logistic with other departments, overseeing interviews, hiring, and training of new team members, managing schedules for the team and ensuring proper coverage, and handling light cleaning as needed. This team serves a building of 350+ employees with some additional attention paid to nearby satellite offices. The right fit will be familiar with formal plated dining services, promote a team culture, hold themselves to a high standard of excellence, understand how to manage and delegate, have excellent time management and organizational skills, be comfortable wearing a uniform, be able to lift up to 50lbs and maintain confidentiality at all times. Applicants must have 7-10 years minimum experience in high end hospitality, which may include working in private homes as a Butler or working service (i.e. as a Captain) in Michelin star restaurants. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for an occasional early morning, evening, or weekend.
