A private family office is seeking an Estate Operations / Construction Manager. This person is needed to assist with the on-the-ground household, property and project needs for a number of properties. They will be responsible for establishing routine preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate routine maintenance, repairs and renovation / construction projects.
The candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, architects, engineers and various vendors and consultants with the design and construction teams. A strong candidate will possess and demonstrate the ability to communicate efficiently with household staff and external construction teams. They will have the knowledge of the construction process from conception through implementation and maintain continued analysis of progress and budget throughout the project duration.
The Estate Operations / Construction Manager will have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, led by example and maintain proper discretion and confidentiality. It is expected that this individual has impeccable integrity, treats colleagues with respect and exercises good judgment. This position reports to the Head of Family Office and works closely with Family Office staff. They will be interacting with Family members on a daily basis. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience working in private estate and/or luxury residential real estate environments.
