A family of four, in Brevard County, FL. (near Orlando), needs to hire a part time Nanny/Family assistant to support their daily needs. Family has an infant and a toddler, who is in residence part time. Responsibilities include: providing attentive care for the children during parents’ working hours, monitoring development milestones and engaging in age-appropriate play and enrichment activities, diapering, following sleep and feeding schedules, child-related housekeeping, assisting with family laundry and some family meals, running household errands (i.e. grocery shopping and picking up dry cleaning), and special tasks that may arise. The family is seeking an individual with a minimum of three year’s relevant experience (including infant care), who can drive, is CPR and first aid certified, well organized, and reliable. Parents work from home and applicants should be comfortable with this. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 12 to 5pm with flexibility for additional coverage, including date night babysitting. Salary: 30K annually with benefits.
