A creative, nature-loving family of three, in Cold Spring, NY, needs to hire a dynamic, playful, and engaging Nanny to help care for their infant. Responsibilities are all childcare related, including but not limited to: preparing bottles and preparing snacks when age appropriate, changing diapers, keeping the child’s bedroom clean and organized, reading and engaging in enriching playtime activities, encouraging positive language and motor development, collaborating with hands-on parents to create consistent and nurturing environment, planning outings when age-appropriate and monitoring developmental milestones. The family lives in the village of Cold Spring, ~1 mile from a charming main street with coffee shops and a playground. The town has some of the best hiking possibilities in the NY area and a nanny will have easy access to dirt roads and trails for walks and hikes with the child. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 9am-3pm, but the family is flexible to provide more hours if the Nanny needs full-time. Must be comfortable with parents working from home. Salary range: $32-40/hr. October start.
