A House Manager is sought by a highly active Manhattan based family with multiple residences. The House Manager will be responsible for the management and administration of domestic staff, vendor pools, household operating systems and residential projects. They will create maintenance schedules, update household manuals, manage inventories, plan and execute private parties and ensure amenities and operating systems are running smoothly. There is periodic travel to secondary (east coast) residences where accommodations are provided. The ability to act as a owner’s representative and protect their best interests and privacy is paramount. While this position requires a high level of professionalism and management capabilities, it also requires an approachable, family-friendly disposition and a “no task too small” mentality. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience working for private households, verifiable references and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
