An active Manhattan based family is looking for an experienced Houseman or Housekeeper to join their household staff. This position will work with an existing domestic team to maintain a large guest-ready townhome. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: deep and heavy cleaning, organization, stocking, running errands, making beds, and basic property maintenance. This person may also be asked to receive a package, answer the door, supervise a vendor, assist a colleague, or perform other miscellaneous tasks as they arise. This position is based in NYC with travel to the Hamptons during the summer months where accommodations are provided. The schedule is Friday – Monday when in NYC and Sunday – Wednesday when in the Hamptons. The hours are 11AM – 9PM with flexibility. Those who desire a long-term commitment and who have a team spirit and zero ego need only apply. Qualified candidates will have excellent references, a minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience, and a valid driver’s license (and safe driving history). Compensation: $35-$40/hour plus benefits.
