A family of four, in the West Village, needs to hire a full-time live-in (or live out) Nanny/ Family Assistant to care for their two elementary age children. Responsibilities include: assisting with morning routines and getting the children ready for school, coordinating fun games, activities, & outings, school pick up & shuttling to activities, children’s laundry & child-related household upkeep, household organization, errands, light meal prep, scheduling & taking to appointments, homework help, immersive play, traveling with the family, and helping with the bedtime routine. The ideal individual will be energetic and very engaging with the children. Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving in the city. Should hold a valid passport, be fully vaccinated (including covid), and comfortable in water. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, typically between 7am and 7pm, though applicants who need a later start are encourage to apply. For live in, there is a private bed and bath offered, though applicants should have a place to go to on days off. For Live out applicants, flexibility to sleep over most weekend nights and live in summer is a must. Salary $30/hr. Immediate Start!
