A formal estate, in Southampton, needs to hire a temporary Seasonal Server. Responsibilities include: set up for events and hosting, professionally delivering food/beverage/misc. items to Principles and guests, and supporting the property’s general operations as needed, food and beverage service on a daily basis including meals, snacks, entertaining, etc. (both formal and informal), prepare for meals, snacks, and general entertaining by setting tables, lightly cleaning areas to be used, and anticipating needs by adding elements that may be appreciated (additional ice, shades/umbrellas, towels, etc.), run errands and provide general concierge work as needed and upon request, Support household/property needs such as light housekeeping, kitchen support (meal prep, dishes, etc.), driving/transporting items, and exterior property support, knowledge of the treatment and handling of fine art and furniture and detail cleaning is a must. All candidates must have full knowledge of formal etiquette and table setting. Schedule is 40-60 hours a week, inclusive of weekends. Salary range: $40 an hour. Early May start.
