A family of four, in Brooklyn, needs to hire a part-time Personal/Family Assistant who can manage the household and lend a hand to busy parents. Responsibilities include: ordering food and household supplies, coordinating with and overseeing the family’s housekeeper, scheduling travel and making sure the family has everything they need for their trips, preparing the family’s two residences and traveling with them (typically during the summer), coordinating with hotels, etc. to make sure locations are prepared, occasionally assisting with childcare – big plus if applicants have a background in education or Montessori experience and create activities for children. One parent runs their own company and is a busy entrepreneur so applicants should be able to handle personal errands or possibly some administrative tasks. Family has a flexible schedule and much of the job can be done remotely, though all applicants must be able to be at the residence at least once a week. Typically 10 hours a week will be spent on family assistant duties and 10 hours on personal assistant duties. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and passport. Immediate start.
