A family of three, on Chicago’s Gold Coast, needs to hire a part time Nanny/ Household Assistant who can handle the afterschool care of their early elementary-age child. The family would ideally like someone who handle childcare with a 2:30-7pm schedule OR someone who can working closer to a1 12-7pm schedule and assist is light household duties. Childcare responsibilities include: school pick up, taking the child to afterschool activities, engaging in fun, educational age-appropriate play & assisting with any school assignments, preparing healthy snacks & meals and getting the child ready for bed. Household assistance duties include: light family cooking, running errands, keeping things organized & tidy (no deep cleaning), and assisting with family laundry. Depending on the role, coverage will be 2:30pm-7pm or 12:30pm-7pm from Monday to Friday and it would be a huge bonus if the nanny could help on school holidays. Salary $30/hr. Immediate hire.
