A working mother, in Morningside Heights, needs to hire an experienced Nanny to help care for her infant. Responsibilities include: childcare, maintaining inventory in children’s room, packing for travel, planning enriching activities in the neighborhood, working with morning Nanny during first year to collaborate on developmental milestones and daily schedule, keep home tidy, prepare healthy snacks and meals, light housekeeping and laundry, dishes and kitchen organization, light pet care, packing/unpacking for travel and essentially work as a teammate with busy mom to keep home running smoothly. Candidates must be flexible to travel internationally throughout the year and provide flexibility as needed and be comfortable caring for infants and toddlers in tandem in case of family additions. Ideal candidates will be flexible, developmentally savvy, work well with others and will be open to living in if mom has a second child. This is a long-term position which will ideally evolve into children’s high school years; working with mom to manage all needs. Schedule is 40-45 hours from Tuesday to Saturday starting at 8am. Rate: $35-40/hr DOE plus benefits. Immediate start.
