A formal Manhattan household needs to hire a highly experienced, and hands-on, live-in Housekeeper to join their team. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeping & care for fine household items, running errands, receiving & welcoming visitors & guests, overseeing vendors in the home, formal table setting, very light meal prep (typically just breakfast, as there is a chef), and pitching in with some pet care for two small dogs. The family is in residence about 6-7 months out of the year and during this time, schedule will be working, typically, Monday through Friday 7:30am and 7:30pm, with a break during the day. Flexibility is key and some evening or weekend coverage may be needed. When the principals are out of town, the schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, with lighter hours. Salary range: $40-50/hr. a with competitive benefits plan. 5 or 7 day live in with a private bed and bath offered. Immediate start.
