First-time expecting parents, in the Hamptons, needs to hire a Live-In Mother’s Helper/Nanny from July through Labor Day. The role may potentially extend between 1-4 weeks in NYC, where the candidate will need their own housing. Newborn Care Responsibilities: assisting with feeding, burping, diaper changes, and soothing the baby, maintaining a clean and safe environment, tracking inventory for the baby’s items, bottle prep and sterilization, monitoring baby’s development and provide gentle stimulation. Mother’s Helper Responsibilities:  Assisting with light household tasks (laundry, tidying up the home), support Mom with meal prep and hydration throughout the day, run occasional errands (grocery stores, pickup medicines), provide guidance and support as needed, and help facilitate a calm, peaceful environment for rest and recovery. The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and attentive. Applicants must also be receptive to taking directions from the parents and understand boundaries regarding the use of space. All applicants must be CPR/First Aid certified, hold a valid driver license, prior newborn care experience, and ideally postpartum care experience. The family also has a dog so candidates must be pet friendly and open to walking the dog occasionally. The schedule will be working 10-12 hours per day, flexibility is needed.
