Job Listing: 16395

Position: Full Time, Nanny
Location: Hamptons, Live-in, Long Island, Manhattan, New York

A family of four, in the West Village, needs to hire a top-notch, ROTA career Nanny to care for their young infant as they develop into a toddler and beyond. The Nanny will be taking over from the baby nurse. The ideal applicant will be experienced, educated, poised, developmentally savvy, flexible, and emotionally intelligent.

Responsibilities include: Planning activities (including researching & booking local classes), engaging in age-appropriate play, monitoring milestones, diapering, bathing, bottle-feeding, sterilizing bottles & toys, maintaining sleep & feeding schedules, and traveling with the family as needed, primarily between West Village and Bridgehampton, with additional locations as needed. All candidates must have experience caring for infants and transitioning through developmental stages as they age (food progression, toilet training, socialization skills, etc.). Experience caring for toddlers, and growing children is also desired, as the family hopes to find a Nanny to add to their life and staff long-term. This role requires being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with others, while also taking the lead on childcare at all times.

The family would prefer someone who resides in the NYC area or who is willing to relocate there. The standardized schedule is Monday through Sunday, hours may vary, but ROTA expectation is 2-4 weeks on (depending on the Nanny’s preference), with adequate time off to fully balance. Salary range: $110-130k + health insurance stipend. Flexible start date.
