A Greenwich Village based family needs to hire an experienced Private Chef with fine-dining experience. The Chef will take full responsibility for all kitchen and culinary duties. This includes daily menu planning, careful provisioning, inventorying/stocking (fridge, pantry, and beverages), maintaining preference lists, and keeping a pristine kitchen. The Chef will prepare lunch and dinner with breakfast upon request. The cuisine should be clean, healthy, and seasonal. Ingredients will be sustainable, organic, and local whenever possible. The ability to execute at a fine-dining level and offer fresh, new and exciting menus on a consistent basis are musts. The role is based in Greenwich Village with travel to the Hamptons during summer months. Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday. Compensation: $150K-$200K + excellent benefits including a 401K.
