A beautiful, large acreage property in Dutchess County needs to hire an experienced, hands-on Property/Farm Manager. This person will be responsible for the oversight of the grounds, gardens, equipment/machinery, and general property maintenance. The estate consists of a main house, guest houses, greenhouses, pool house, a barn, and other structures. There are manicured lawns, koi ponds, and elaborate vegetable and perennial gardens. An expert knowledge of plantings, fertilizing, pruning, felling, and harvesting is extremely important. A background in horticulture is strongly preferred and the amount of knowledge this role requires cannot be understated. Property maintenance duties include vehicle and equipment upkeep/cleaning, fence mending, changing light bulbs, and managing HVAC, boilers, and generators. This role provides on-site accommodations. The incoming Property/Farm Manager will overlap and train with the current long-term employee who is retiring in 2025. Salary range: $115-$150k. Immediate start.
