A working Mom, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire a full time, live in, Nanny to assist in the care for two children, one toddler and one early elementary age. Responsibilities include: school drop off & pick up, planning developmentally appropriate activities, homework help, toilet training, accompanying the children to playdates, classes & afterschool activities, engaging the children in educational play, preparing healthy meals & snacks for the children, child-related housekeeping & laundry, and traveling with the family, including spending time at their country home during summers. Majority of the care will be for the youngest, as the older child is in school and the family is also considering hiring extra afternoon support. Applicants must have a degree, with a related degree (i.e. education) being a huge plus, have a valid passport, and be covid vaccinated. Driving and swimming are preferred but not required. Current schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am to 7/8pm but the Nanny may live in full time (7 days). Accommodations are private bed and bathroom. Salary range: $30-50/hr. Late summer/ early fall start.
