A formal family, in the West Village, needs to hire a full-time Housekeeper to join their team! Responsibilities include: cleaning & household organization, polishing silver & care for china, setting the table, dinner service (including formal entertaining), kitchen clean up, some family laundry, and running errands, as needed. All applicants must be able to work as a team and take direction, have a strong command of the English language, be able to work in a home with many stairs, be detail-orients, and know how to provide meticulous & top-notch service to their principals. Those with a background in formal homes, as well as experience working in hotels is highly preferred. The schedule is working Thursdays through Mondays from 12 to 8pm, with flexibility for extra coverage on special occasions. Salary range: $35-40/hr. benefits. Immediate start.
