A Manhattan based family with multiple children and multiple properties is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their staff. The Chef will carefully plan menus, provision quality ingredients, execute meals to individual tastes, and take pride in maintaining a clean and well-stocked kitchen and pantry. The family enjoys a healthy, refined, and highly seasonal cuisine that is (whenever possible) sustainable, local, and farmer-driven. Meal structures will vary: packed lunches, family-style dinners, coursed meals, etc. There is some high-level entertaining throughout the year. The position is based in Manhattan (live-out) with summers in the Hamptons (accommodations provided). The schedule is 5 days per week; this role involves weekends and some holidays.
