A family of five, with homes in Greenwich Village and the Hamptons, needs to hire a part-time Manny or Nanny/Family to cover their weekend shift and care for their active, elementary-age child. Responsibilities include: transporting the child to and from activities, creating fun developmentally savvy games, taking the child on outings to parks and museums, preparing meals, and assisting with light child-related housekeeping. The Nanny must be comfortable with dogs and flexible to take the dog on a walk. Additional duties include: assisting when the family entertains and lending a hand wherever needed. The Nanny will be working as part of a team consisting of a House Manger, a primary Nanny and a Housekeeper. Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. All applicants must be Covid vaccinated, be able to swim, have a valid license, and be ready to travel! Some holiday travel may be necessary so flexibility is a must. The schedule is arriving Thursday night at 7pm and staying over to be ready to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7am to 7pm, and then departing, Monday at 9am. Compensation is within the $35-40/hr. range. Immediate start.
