A formal household, in Greater Westchester County, NY, needs to hire a top-notch  full time Housekeeper to provide assistance with the daily operation, management and meticulous upkeep of the household. Responsibilities include: Coordinating with the other staff in the home (specifically, the housekeeping team) to carry out all housekeeping needs, including deep cleaning, daily organization, and household laundry (including care for fine clothing & linens), maintaining tidying and orderly closets throughout residence, packing and unpacking for travel, caring for multiple dogs, preparing the home for guests & assistance with entertaining and handling service, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and tackling any special projects that may arise. Much of the role requires strong teamwork and coordinating with the property manager. Must have 10+ years of private housekeeping working in fine homes, fluency in English and strong communication skills, operate with discretion at all time, have exceptional organizational skills, love dogs and be experienced in the care of fine household items such as couture clothing, linens, China, antiques, fine art, etc. During the off season, the family requires 24-32 hours minimum of assistance per week but will guarantee 40 paid weekly hours and then from June to October, this role will be full time and require flexibility, including the ability to work at least one weekend day. Salary range: $45-50/hr. with benefits.
