A family of four, mainly based out of Southeast Florida and West Hartford, CT., needs to hire a live-in Nanny to partner with a very hands-on parent in the care for two young children (toddler & kindergarten-age). Responsibilities include: school drop off and pick up, helping with morning and evenings routines (i.e. packing backpack for school), taking the children to classes & afterschool activities, engaging in educational & developmentally appropriate play, child-related laundry & household upkeep, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and traveling with the family on a regular basis. The family wants a Nanny who is active, developmentally savvy and able to keep up with the children and engage them on many different levels. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license & passport and be able to swim. It’s a huge plus if the Nanny has education experience or a related degree. Private accommodations provided in both residences. Family guarantees 40-45 hours a week, Monday to Friday with, ideally, some additional coverage on Saturday mornings. The family will provide a schedule beforehand, always ensuring nanny has adequate time off. Salary is $28-33/hr. with a health insurance stipend. Immediate start.
