Position: Cook, Executive Housekeeper, Family Assistant, Full Time
Location: Live-out, Washington D.C.

A family, in Northwest Washington D.C., needs to hire an Executive Housekeeper/Family Assistant/Cook to help manage their home and daily operations. Responsibilities include: family cooking, light housekeeping and daily maintenance, scheduling vendors, coordinating home projects, managing appointments and sourcing services. All candidates must be child-friendly! The family is looking for a candidate who understands boundaries, is professional yet personable, and can seamlessly integrate into their home without being a constant presence. The schedule is Monday through Friday 40 hours a week (flexible hours). Salary range: 100-150k + a health insurance stipend.  Immediate start.

The role involves maintaining the home’s organization and ensuring all household operations run smoothly. Mornings will be dedicated to cooking, light housekeeping and general upkeep, with the option of overseeing professional cleaners if hands-on cleaning is not preferred. As the day progresses, responsibilities will shift toward administrative tasks such as scheduling vendors, coordinating home projects, and handling household logistics. Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone, are essential, as the role requires managing appointments, sourcing services, and overseeing various home-related tasks.

A key aspect of this position includes meal preparation. It is a plus if the candidate can prepare Mediterranean-inspired dishes for the family. Cooking can be done either in the family’s residence or at their own home, depending on preference. While this is not a full-time childcare role, the candidate should be comfortable with children as the couple will be welcoming their first child in the coming months.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high-functioning household. The role is working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is offering a salary in the $100-150k range plus a health insurance stipend. The family is also open to relocating the right candidate and providing a relocation stipend if necessary.
