A two-parent, two-child household in the Gramercy Park area, must hire a personable and perceptive Household/Cook/Family Assistant to manage their semi-formal townhouse’s daily cleaning, organization, and upkeep. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, laundry and organizing, ironing, dry cleaning schedule and delivery, kitchen inventory, basic prep and organization, maintaining appliances, and liaising with various vendors and service people. A passion for beauty and experience with formal table service is highly desirable. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to balance routine tasks with the ebb and flow of a dynamic household. The baseline schedule is 40 hours/week, with some flexibility needed when the principals entertain. Salary: $40-50/hour. Mid-January start (flexible).
