A family of five, in Greenwich, CT, needs to hire an experienced House Manager to oversee daily operations of the home and ensure seamless service to the family. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing household staff and vendors (landscaping, house cleaners, domestic workers, seasonal property treatments, etc.), interviewing, hiring, training additional team members with ability to execute roles of each household staff and fill in as needed, coordinating events, performing daily inspections, and assisting with errands, meal planning, vehicle management, administrative work, calendar management, travel planning, driving the children to activities or school as needed, creating and maintaining household manuals, home operations manuals, and shopping/inventory lists, and pet care for family dog when needed. The manager is expected to proactively address household needs, maintain a professional and service-oriented mindset, and create a serene, organized environment. The typical schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7am-5pm requiring the flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work, and be responsive to troubleshooting needs 24/7 (rare but possible). Candidates must have strong experience in hiring, training and managing a large staff. The House Manager will be tasked with building out the current team soon after starting, so must hit the ground running. Must be a strong collaborator with principals and have a “no task is to small of large” mentality. Must have reliable transportation, clean license and active passport. Salary range: $125-150k/yr plus health insurance stipend. Immediate start.
