Position: Executive Housekeeper, Full Time
Location: Live-out, Manhattan, New York

A gentlelady, on the Upper East side, needs to hire an  organized and highly experienced full time, live out Executive Housekeeper/ Household Assistant to assist with and manager her day-to-day household needs. Responsibilities include: managing the household schedule, paying attention to the principal’s daily schedule, keeping principal on-task & ensuring she takes her medicine, accompanying her to appointments, organizing dog care & vet appointments, overseeing work being done in the home, running errands, grocery shopping, assisting with technology/ phone, help packing, preparing some simple meals, light housekeeping (i.e. dishes, occasionally polishing silver, & closet organization), some laundry, household organization, coordinating with other employees including the family’s housekeeper, and handling ad hoc tasks/ projects. Much of this role will be acting as the boots-on-the ground Assistant so the ability coordinate with the principal’s long time Executive Assistant is necessary.

All candidates who apply must have a strong command of the English language, take initiative, anticipate the principal’s needs and have experience in formal NYC homes. This person must be child friendly and comfortable with having the Mrs. grandchildren around. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8/8:30am – 5pm with flexibility. Salary $45-50 hr. with a health insurance stipend. Ideally a late March/ early April start.
