An active family, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a highly experienced career Nanny who can assist busy parents with the care of their pre teen. Must work well with other Nannies and the rest of the staff. Responsibilities include: Morning routine, escorting the child to after school activities, supervising dinner times, bath time and preparation for bed, helping with homework and school projects, and supporting overall development. The key to this position is being a role model for the children and leading by example. The childcare approach should include discipline, consistency, and clear boundaries, as well as playfulness and sense of humor. Must have a US passport or a valid Visa to work in the USA. Must be able travel with the family domestically and internationally during school breaks and summer months. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required, as well as a team spirit to work harmoniously with a large staff. The schedule is: Thursday -Monday, 7am-9pm with considerable downtime during the day while the children are at school. Salary range: $45-$55/hour + overtime and benefits. Immediate start.
