A family of three, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a highly experienced career Nanny who can assist busy parents with the care of their preteen. Responsibilities include: morning routine, school drop off and pick up, escorting to after school activities, supervising dinner time, bath time and bedtime, helping with homework and school projects, and supporting overall development.
The ideal candidate must be an engaging and outgoing person with emotional maturity and positive outlook on life. The childcare approach should include discipline, consistency and clear boundaries, as well as playfulness and sense of humor. Must have US passport to travel with the family domestically and internationally during school breaks and summer months. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required, as well as a team spirit to work harmoniously with a large staff. The schedule is: Monday-Friday, 7am-9pm with considerable downtime during the day while the child is at school. Salary range: $45-$55/hour + benefits. Immediate start.
