A gentlelady, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a full-time, skilled Companion. Responsibilities include: accompanying the principal to doctors’ appointments and public outings, providing assistance with walking, standing, sitting, and transfers, assisting with routine exercises and all aspects of daily care tasks and personal hygiene, preparing and serving light meals, light housekeeping duties, and grocery shopping and running errands. All candidates must be able to work well alongside the family’s Housekeeper. The ideal applicant will possess a warm, caring and nurturing demeanor, have a strong ability to be patient and calm, and be adept at taking direction. There is a possibility for occasional travel to the Principal’s home in Connecticut where the candidate must stay overnight and accommodations will be provided. The schedule is Monday – Friday from 10am – 6pm with flexibility required. Salary range: $80-95K range, plus health insurance. Immediate start.
