A family, in Manhattan, needs to hire an experienced, career Housekeeper for care for their townhouse. Responsibilities include: preparing the home townhouse in advance of principals’ arrival, including pantry stocking, shopping, and confirming all home systems are fully operational, high-level housekeeping, expert knowledge of proper cleaning methods and products for high-end furnishings, finishes, and materials, including stone, wood, lacquer, leather, metals, and fine upholstery, expert garment and wardrobe care, including laundering, pressing, steaming, handwashing, seasonal rotation, and proper storage of luxury garments, coordinating with approved high-end dry cleaners, tailors, and specialty service providers, overseeing and supervising approved household vendors and maintenance providers, monitoring the condition of the townhouse and proactively flag maintenance needs, maintaining accurate inventories of food, medications, and household products, including monitoring expiration dates and rotating stock, tracking all role-related expenses and submit complete, timely expense reports in accordance with established procedures, coordinating with estate management, household staff, and vetted vendors. The ideal candidate must have minimum 5+ years’ experience in UHNW or HNW private residences, including townhouses. Fluent English, spoken and written. Highly organized and technologically proficient, particularly with calendaring, scheduling, and digital communication. Schedule is : 25–30 hours per week (variable schedule based on household calendar). Flexibility required for short-notice changes and extended hours during the principal’s occupancy. Salary range: $40-42 per hour. Immediate start.
