Working parents, in the Financial District, need to hire an experienced Nanny/Cook to care for their school aged child. Responsibilities include: school pick up and occasional drop off, accompanying the child to after school activities and playdates, household errands and grocery shopping, meal planning and cooking basic healthy meals (spending one day per week preparing additional meals), planning enriching activities, encouraging language development, accompanying family to the Hamptons occasionally in the summer and providing daytime care when child is on vacation etc. Schedule is flexible, but must cover after school hours from 2-7pm. More hours available for the Nanny/Cook’s meal prep day and additional morning hours available on Wednesdays, as well as, later hours on Thursdays. Candidates willing to live-in during some weeks in Nov. and Dec. highly preferred. Family will work with the best fit to find the schedule that is mutually beneficial. Salary range: $40-45/hr. DOE and cooking level. Immediate start.
