Seeking a highly experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large New York City residence. The Property Manager will ensure the smooth operation of systems, services, and staff and act as the main point of contact for all related needs. They will be responsible for understanding and clearly communicating the family’s preferences, goals, and expectations to staff and other team members. A high level of organization is required to perform all duties. The Property Manager (PM) will create and update maintenance schedules, household manuals, protocols, and policies. They will perform HR functions, manage household calendars, coordinate vendors, negotiate and review contracts, track expenses, manage detailed inventories (e.g. wine, art, and collectibles), and oversee special projects.
The PM will coordinate with other managers, Family Office personnel, Accountants, and a variety of third party service providers. Fostering, promoting, and contributing to an atmosphere of mutual respect, team-spirit, positivity, and drive to achieve is a must. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as requested. Qualified candidates will have strong computer/tech, follow-up, trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Seeking family and pet-friendly candidates with a minimum of 7-10 years of similar experience as a Property Manager or Estate Manager. Compensation: $150K – $175K plus excellent benefits, DOE.
