A formal Manhattan family needs to hire a top-notch Housekeeper to provide assistance with the daily operation, management and meticulous upkeep of their primary household. Responsibilities include: Coordinating with the other staff in the home (specifically, the housekeeping team) to carry out all full charge housekeeping needs, including deep cleaning, daily organization, and household laundry (including care for fine clothing & linens), maintaining tidy and orderly closets throughout residence, packing and unpacking for travel, liaising with vendors, contractors, and any other household services, maintaining household inventories and procuring supplies, caring for multiple dogs, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards, developing and implementing safety and security protocol, and tackling any special projects that may arise. Much of the role requires strong teamwork and coordinating with the property manager and the executive housekeeper. Must have 10+ years of private housekeeping experience working in fine homes, fluency in English and strong communication skills, operate with discretion at all time, have exceptional organizational skills, love dogs and be experienced in the care of fine household items such as couture clothing, linens, China, antiques, fine art, etc. Schedule is Monday to Friday, guaranteed 40 hours, typically 9am to 5pm with some flexibility. Salary range: $45-50/hr.
