A formal household, in the West Village, needs to hire a formally-trained Laundress/Housekeeper. All candidates must be skilled in museum quality deep cleaning, special care and upkeep of fine furnishings and delicate surfaces, and meticulous laundering, ironing, and pressing of high-end linens and garments. Candidates should also be tech savvy. Must be comfortable working as a team member in a staffed home. Candidates with serving experience at dinner events and parties highly preferred. The principal is in residence 5-6 months per year. Someone who is willing to travel to the West Coast is preferred but not required. This role can be full-time or part-time for the right person. Candidates must be Covid vaccinated. Salary range: $40-45 hr.. Immediate start.
