A family, in Jersey City, needs to hire a highly experienced, educationally focused, full-time, live-out nanny to care for their toddler. Responsibilities include: planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities & outing, engaging in play, supporting social and emotional learning, communicating with parents & tracking developmental milestones, handling child-related housekeeping and cooking, and traveling with the family. This role is ideal for an engaging professional who brings a strong educational background and a genuine passion for childcare. The family would ideally like to find a long-term partner, with similar values, who can stay with them as they grow. A background in education, child psychology, or childhood development is strongly preferred, with a bachelor’s degree required and advanced degrees highly valued. Prior teaching experience would be a wonderful asset The child has allergies, so experience navigating dietary restrictions and maintaining a safe environment is essential. Candidates must swim, be able to travel (both domestically and internationally), CPR certified, and be fully vaccinated. A valid driver’s license is a plus. The family may relocate to Montclair or Orange, NJ in the future, so candidates should be comfortable with a potential transition within the greater North Jersey area. Schedule is typically Monday to Friday with an 8am start, 42 hours guaranteed. Salary range $30-45/hr. Immediate start.
