Working parents, in Battery Park City, need to hire an experienced full time Nanny. Responsibilities will revolve around care of an infant and a school age child. Responsibilities for the infant include: diapering, bottle feeding and introducing solids, maintaining an age appropriate nap schedule, bathing, cleaning up after baby – bottles / laundry / toys, taking to scheduled activities. For toddler, who is in school full time (8:30-3:15 pm) 5 days per week, job will entail picking him up from school at 3:15 pm, making snacks and preparing dinner / bathing. Taking him to activities after school (swim class once per week). The Nanny must be comfortable and experienced watching two children. General responsibilities: keeping common spaces and children’s rooms’ tidy, keeping inventory of household items for children, and light household tasks – e.g. emptying dishwasher, taking out garbage, and children’s s meal prep and their laundry. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel with family and work overtime as needed. Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours per week). Salary range: $38-40 per hour. Immediate start.
