A family of four, in Brooklyn Heights, needs to hire an experienced, career Housekeeper/Laundress to care for their townhouse. Responsibilities include: deep cleaning and daily maintenance, laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, wardrobe care, closet organization and dry cleaning coordination. The role also involves making beds and changing linens, light meal preparation and occasional cooking, packing and unpacking for travel, occasional walking the dog, and receiving packages at the door. The Housekeeper will manage household supplies and inventory, and liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
Candidates should have prior private household experience, strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to comfortably navigate the stairs of a four-story home. Salary: $50/hour and benefits. June start.
