A family of four, in the Manhattan Beach, CA, needs to hire a highly organized Part-Time Housekeeper / Family Assistant to help maintain the smooth daily operation of their home. Primary responsibilities include: maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day upkeep of the residence, including family laundry, tidying, household organization, running errands, overseeing packages and deliveries, handling returns, assisting with scheduling and light administrative tasks, ensuring the home remains fully stocked, and helping keep the household running efficiently overall. Additional responsibilities may include occasional assistance with the family’s two young children as needed (though there is a stay-at-home parent who handles the full-time childcare), as well as very light meal prep such as washing and preparing fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, intuitive, and highly dependable, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate household needs before they arise. Someone with prior nanny experience looking to transition into a more household management-focused role would be especially well suited for this position. The family is seeking a collaborative team player who is flexible, professional, and genuinely enjoys supporting busy households. Schedule (and guaranteed hours) are Monday through Friday from 3-9pm, during the family’s busiest time, with the potential for additional hours. Salary range: $35-40/hr. Immediate start.
