A family of five, in the West Village, needs to hire an engaging NYC-based Spanish speaking Nanny/Household Assistant, who will assist in the care for the three children (primary for the youngest toddler) and work as an extra pair of hands in a home with two hands-on parents. Responsibilities include: engaging the children in educational, age-appropriate play, preparing meals for the children, child-related housekeeping & laundry, assisting with some household errands, family laundry, and light cooking. Come fall, the two eldest will be in school and primary care will be for the youngest. Private bed and bath when living in. Spanish is spoken in the home and is a key requirement for this role. Applicants should also feel comfortable in the water and be ok working in a home with a very small dog. Licensed drivers are a plus but not required. Schedule is: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm. Salary range: $1,500-2,000 a week. Immediate start.
