A family of three, primarily based in Brooklyn, needs to hire a full-time Nanny/ Household Assistant to care for a  toddler and help ensure their home runs smoothly. Childcare responsibilities include: engaging the child in developmentally appropriate fun & educational activities, monitoring milestones, school drop off & pick up, taking the child to classes & sports, planning playdates, all child related housekeeping & laundry and preparing healthy meals and snacks. While they employee a housekeeper, the family appreciates a Nanny who will help ensure the general tidiness of the home, including organization of common areas. Assisting with some laundry, light meal prep, household errands, and light pet care for a small dog are also a huge plus. The family has a second home in Arizona and will need the nanny to spend extended vacations there with them over school breaks and holidays, etc. All candidates must be able to keep up with a very active toddler, have experience with children of a similar age (and up), and be up to date on all major vaccines. All candidates must drive. Schedule is Monday to Friday  7am to 7pm one day, 7am to 2pm a second day, and three days working a 9am to 5pm schedule, flexible to 8-5, 8-7 etc. Salary range: $35-40/hr. May start.
