Working parents (combo of working from home and the office) living in the West Village in Manhattan, need to hire an experienced Nanny for their young infant. Responsibilities include: feeding, bathing, dressing, changing diapers, nurturing their development across each milestone, fun-filled educational play, chaperoning child to parks and playgrounds, classes and museums, playdates, and in time to and from school. All candidates must be safety conscious and have a strong educational background, with excellent command of English (other languages are a plus but not required). Strong interpersonal skills are a must in order to work harmoniously with the parents. Trustworthy, paying attention to detail, and having good judgment is essential. Flexibility to travel with the family domestically and internationally is also a requirement. The schedule is: Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.30pm with flexibility to work until roughly 10pm a couple days a week, and the occasional Saturday night if requested in advance. Salary range: $35-55/hour and benefits. Immediate start.
