A soon to be family of four, with homes in Brooklyn Heights and Garrison, NY, needs to hire a highly experienced career Nanny. Primary care will be for their toddler for the first six months after baby arrives as they will have a Babynurse. This Nanny will then transition to caring for both children. All candidates must be comfortable caring for an infant and a toddler. The family is looking for a Nanny who can work seamlessly with the parents and is knowledgeable of all developmental milestones. Responsibilities include: meal prep and light housekeeping related to the children, helping with household/nursery/bedroom organization, keeping children’s supplies stocked, planning enriching activities for their toddler and maintaining children’s routines including school pick-up etc. Candidates must be comfortable working alongside a full-time housekeeper, be dog friendly (care not required), be able to swim, be flexible to travel internationally (approx. twice a year), be Covid vaccinated and CPR certified. Ideal candidates will be developmentally savvy, energetic and have experience caring for both an infant and pre-school age child in tandem. Candidates must have the flexibility for overnights and spending summers upstate. Private accommodations provided during summers outside the city. The ability to drive is a plus, but not required. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30/8am to 6/7pm with flexibility. Salary range: $35-45/hr. base plus OT and a health insurance stipend. Immediate start.
