Seeking a reliable, compassionate Companion/Household Assistant for a Westchester gentleman and his residence. The incoming candidate will have the willingness and ability to handle a wide range of duties spanning personal assistance, companionship, and hands-on domestic tasks. Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with daily routines to ensure safety and well-being
- Drive and accompany the employer to appointments and social outings
- Manage social calendars, personal correspondence (must have solid writing skills), and all appointments
- Engage by reading the paper, discussing movies, listening to music, planning appropriate activities etc.
- Grocery shopping/purchasing
- Plan and prepare healthy, simple meals
- Run errands and handle purchases/gifting
- Basic household cleaning and organization
- Medication management
- Communicate with family members
- Foster a positive environment
Patient, smart, flexible and dedicated individuals are encouraged to apply to this full-time opportunity. Must be CPR certified, have a safe driving record and excellent references. The schedule is 5 days per week approximately 8-12 hours/day. Hiring two people for seven day coverage. Please note your availability when applying for this opportunity. Salary: $75K-$85K plus overtime, paid vacation; medical stipend negotiable.
